    I'm a rider from Austin, and I always get great service. The app has a nice, clean interface and getting a ride is always fast and easy. My one gripe is that sometimes the in-app GPS gets buggy and may show myself or the driver in places where we are not. Occasionally the GPS has shown me to be on the move when in reality I was just standing in one spot. Otherwise though this is a great and easy-to-use app.🖒 Full Review

    I use the bus and sometimes I get late to my first class of the day. I was checking the lyft app out and I would like to have the option to choose a gender to take me to school. I don't mind who takes me I just feel more confortable with woman driving me. I do not like the fact that existing users do not get a promo for using the app. I am sometimes late for class because the bus comes at an odd times like I get there at the time the bus should arrive and it came 15 minutes ago. I take 2 buses to school that's why. Give existing users promote too! Full Review

    There are hidden fees! The price they show is not what you'll get charge for. I was quoted for $15.59 but in the end I got charged $21. There is SERVICE FEE and you get charge for the time as well. I am very unhappy about this so I will uninstall this after I write the review. They lost a customer for life and I will for sure will let everyone I know about this so they will not be using lyft ever again. Full Review

    Customer support is nonexistent. If you click on the submit a review from your emailed receipt it will open your browser and take you to a web page that never loads. If you click on the get support option from the Lyft website it will take you to a website that partially loads and then leaves you're staring at another loading sign indefinitely. I don't see how this can be an issue on my end when all other aspects of the app and website work just fine. There is no way to contact customer support. Full Review

    Phone number I use daily is apparently not valid. Tried 2 others, also not valid. Fail! Their answer is that all my phone numbers are incompatible with Lyft.     All links on app that r use 2 file a complaint dont work but all the links that illegaly take peoples money do work. Lyft then makes u pay the fraudulant charge & then dispute it. (Which is illegal). Driver droped me off & fare was still running. Driver drove 2 a whole different city & Ran up my bill & Lyft does not even have an emergency contact number nor do there contact suport button work. Only After i threatened to sue because lyft wanted me to pay for the fraudulent charge & then dispute it. Lyft tried to make me pay for services they never gave me & then dispute it.     Sooooo normally you guys would get a five star from me because I have been using this app religiously since I've gotten my new job and I usually always have a great experience. However, the app is not accepting ANY of my THREE methods of payment that I use all the time. It keeps saying that they are invalid even though Uber accepting them just fine after I had to switch to that service to prevent Myself from getting to work late.     Yeah. You guys need to put in a "Change Driver" Feature when your driver is gone driving 50 million miles AWAY from your destination and youre stuck waiting for anyone to come pick you up for work. There needs to be some sort of timer or something, but this is seriously annoying when your driver seems to just get farther and farther away from you. Full Review

    Oh dear another app where the latest reviews are 1star and users complaining about app not working or service issues. My problem is tried to register but it won't accept my phone number as it is not valid aparantly. *UPDATE* will only accept a landline number which is odd as sends a text to that..... The only reason will reach out to you on twitter will be to tell everybody how poor the app is. I now uninstall any apps from companies that don't work as if you can't get the app to work properly it is unlikely that your company will work properly either. After reading through the other reviews (though 4.2 showed a good app) the latest reviews give you a score just above 1. Your response to users is a thank you and link to reach out to you on twitter and Facebook. As one use said are we testing this for you.     Many people cannot keep this Android app because the app cannot be moved to secondary storage. I, like millions of other Android users, don't have enough space left on my primary storage, so I must move apps to my SD card after I install them. I understand that users must first install apps to primary storage on Android. That's fine. Users should then be able to move the app to Secondary Storage in App Storage Settings. This app does not allow that. Sadly, I have to uninstall this app since I don't have enough space on my primary storage to keep it. Developers can enable apps to be moved to SD Cards. I understand that there are legitimate reasons why some apps can't be moved to secondary storage. For instance, App Widgets or Alarm Services will no longer work from apps run on Secondary Storage. I'm not sure if those examples apply to this app, but again, my opinion is to let the user decide. Some users like myself will give up features just to be able to move the app to SD Storage. It seems better to me to be able to keep the app with limited functionality than have to uninstall it altogether. I've heard that some developers prevent their apps from running on SD Cards simply because the app may run slower. I surely hope that is not the reason with this app. My opinion is: Let the user decide. As it stands, I can't use this app at all because I don't have enough space to keep it installed on my primary storage. SUGGESTION FOR THE DEVELOPER: If there is not an unsurpassable reason to allow users to move your app to SD Cards, then please change the "android:InstallLocation" attribute in your app to allow it to be moved to an SD Card after installation. If you are worried about a second-rate user experience, then simply pop up a warning to the user of the functionality that will be lost by running the app from an SD Card. Full Review

    Network has serious lag issues causing two missed rides. It takes multiple failed connection errors before going through to Drivers, then drops it in app and freezes in "Driver almost there." Meanwhile they leave because you can't find them and they don't respond when called. Drivers don't make themselves easy to spot, especially in the dark. Sometimes they're not waiting in right spot or there are multiple areas in single general location. Only give 1 minute by app to find driver before it automatically issues no show and you get charged $5. Issues experienced while in Las Vegas. Full Review

    The GPS location in this app is absolutely terrible. It has a hard time finding well-established addresses and takes forever to pick up your current location. It doesn't matter what city I'm in or airport but I have to reset the app and the GPS location multiple times and most of the time end up having to just punch in the address where I am. It then asks me to confirm the location before finally recognizing where I am and renders a bunch of the app functionality unusable. Full Review
