Sort play list song order and create folders like the desktop version. A request that has bee going on for years! Also, shuffle songs in a folder 📂 Song max of 3,000 saved songs is lame! I do tend to discover more new music, and the curated play lists and new my mixes are cool. I can organize my music via the desktop so I can find what I want fast. That's good but again should be able organize from mobile. Need to be able to filter EXPLICIT songs out. Make it a user setting. Some gripes and likes... Such is life. 😄😯😬😆😢😴 Full Review

I like that it has a variety of different songs but its just that it doesn't have covers such as "Wild Thots" cover by a boogie and many more. Also, it let's u make a playlist which I found was fun, however, it doesn't let u play whatever song u want at whatever time u want it unless u pay. Other things that u have to pay for are downloading songs and skipping songs. But I do like the fact that u can play music while in another app or turning off ur device. It could be better😬 Full Review

Brilliant app! If you're into music, at least the music from Western world, you need to have this. I've the premium version and it's fab because there are no ads. The recommendation engine is nice. The playlists are spot on. BIGGEST OF ALL, DOES NOT CONSUME A LOT OF BATTERY! (sorry for the caps but it really is optimized for less battery consumption!) The download quality of songs is amazing as well. Full Review

Seriously this free version is so useless. There is no reason to use that app without the premium whatever you call them, so just make the people pay once. Young people like me do not have the money to pay these 9,99 per month. I would be perfectly fine with paying even up to 50 to buy this app to be able to use it with all its functionalities. You would actually get way more downloads if you would change that. Full Review

I tried. Two songs and six 30 second ads. Said I was about to get 30 minutes. Song came on...I hit skip to next song and got another 2 full ads, by that time my mood changed and I changed the station. That set the above chain in motion again. Deleted before the next forced, no way to remove commercial. Used to be my fave web music go to. Full Review

PLEASE INTRODUCE THESE FEATURES: Recently moved from iPhone to Android and do not regret it one bit. However there are 2 features that iPhones have that Android does not: 1. Swipe right on a song to queue, left to save 2. Hold your finger on a song and it plays a snippet of the track so you can "demo" it/ remind you of the song before actually playing. Please introduce these features as this will make spotify even greater than it already is. Full Review

Great app until for a while, loved listening to my music for free. But now doesn't even play music. Ads pop up, don't play, and youre stuck looking at a frozen ad. Restart the app, your phone, whatever. Doesn't work. Thought it was only me, but all my friends are having the same issue. Just gonna switch back to Pandora along with everyone else I guess. If you're having that issue, this seems to be the only solution as it doesn't look like their making any attempt to fix this issue. Full Review

Spotify is probably the best music streaming app I have ever tried, with a great UI and reliable with sound quality music to play with. However, the fact that you are limited to shuffling music only puts me off the mood. I'm not ready yet to get a premium membership subscription but at least let us choose what music we want to play with everything, like when you used to do before. Full Review

Better queuing controls are desparately needed. You can click a song from an album or a playlist, and boom your progress in the previous queue you were listening to is gone. If you go back, any songs from the previous list or album you were listening to that you already heard, will be played again. It's the biggest falling short of Spotify. The UI needs to be optimized a little more as well, but it's pretty good as is. Full Review

This app is a much better music app than any other I've tried. I get to listen to exactly the songs I want to by creating playlists, not to mention the app creates playlists for you based on the music you already listen to. You can listen to millions of podcasts, as well. And it is definitely worth it to buy the premium version of this app! No commercials and the ability to download your favorite songs directly to your device! Full Review

Really disappointed in your latest update. Forcing me to play my library only in shuffle and not the song I want and not being able to play an individual song from the search bar is really a dick move from your end. I get it if you limit the song skips or listening to your ads but this is just too far because if Spotify would be available in my country I would've bought the full version. So it's not that I don't wanna buy it, I just cant. You even removed peeking the next song FFS. The times when I recommended this app to others are over. I hope this strategy was worth it. I'd be trying to study and it would just stop, and not be in my notifications bar despite having the app open. Then I would have to restart the song. PLEASE FIX THIS!!! I love that you can make playlists with your fav. songs, and it is so much better than Pandora, but I guess I'm going to have to switch back. Full Review

I use premium which gives unlimited skips, access to all content commercial free at an extremely affordable price. Much better than the free version. You can immediately go to any song. As long as the artist approves of spotify, which most do, you can listen to anything you like. I haven't had any problems. Spotify premium lets me listen to what I want, how I want to, when I want to. They have plenty of nice, curated playlists for use in various genres. Additionally you can access user created playlists if they're made with public access. Some artists do this to share some additional interests with their fans. Their radio option is great to cycle through similar artists and songs as listen instead of using just the songs in a given playlist. Have I convinced you yet? No? Well at least download the free version. Full Review

Great app for listening to my favorite bands. Only problem I've had was after a certain song played, nothing would player after it. This was in my downloaded songs.. so it didn't make much sense. Plus, it only happened on my phone. My tablet plays my music without me having to skip to the next song. Re-downloading the app on my phone helped, but I also had to re-download over 600 saved songs. Would've been great if this had not happened in the first place. Overall, great app. Full Review

It's got a great library of music. Easy to download songs. Only gripe is a minor one with the option button next to each song. It's hard to press. Sometimes I end up restarting a song or move the track pad too much, while trying to press the three vertical dots. UPDATE: Haven't noticed but they fixed the issue I had with the option button. Way easier to press now. 5 Stars! Full Review

Good app but I'm going back to the free version. Would like to see Spotify add a lightshow option that reacts to music while I'm listening because I have to run another app, like Kaleidoscope, to keep my tablet display from going black and locking. I'm sure advertisers would like this too so users are more likely to view ads and promotions in the free version. I like how easy it is to keep up with new releases. I found the offline version can have glitches, doesn't always play, and can have poor sound quality, even when using the auxiliary line output and not Bluetooth. Full Review

The best free music streaming service on the market with the most choices for listening to your music, how or where you want to listen to it. I just don't like that I have to pay for a subscription to control all my devices. That's not really fair to put basic functions in the Premium portion of the software. I have a feeling it will just drive away customers who feel alienated and move on searching for alternatives. However, with the newer Bluetooth hardware/software -- I understand it'll be standard in the phone to be able to stream to two speakers and control things easier. I'd just like to control my iPad from my Android witout paying. Full Review

It's OK. It used to be amazing. You used to have access to most of the things you can when you have premium. There was unlimited skips and they had more songs available. Something happened on one of the updates and it messed with some of the songs like: Superhero by Jesper Jenset and a couple of songs sung by Robin Williams, as well as, Holding Out for a Hero by Jennifer Saunders, so these are no longer available to listen to. But they can still be seen in your playlist. On a more positive side, it's extremely user-friendly. It is definetly a really good app to listen to study playlists, just make sure you have only songs you don't mind listening to in any mood. Or create "mood" playlists. I do wish that it was cheaper for premium but there is still pretty good offers from them. Full Review

It's frustrating because it's one song out of 300 why does it effect the suggestions so much?? Just because I have one Christian song doesn't mean I want all Christian music.
